What We Offer

Because Wheelchair Basketball is an inclusive sport, the
short answer is everybody can play! You do not have to
have a disability!

We provide all the equipment for players to participate!
all you need to do is turn up in suitable sports clothing
and with a bottle of water in hand!

As we are playing in external leagues this year anybody
can play! Do you have friends that do not attend hull
university? Do you have family members that want to
join in? Maybe your lecturer wants to try out
wheelchair basketball?

disabled parking is available outside the main entrance and also further down when entering the carpark and turning right! 

The centre has a disabled toilet available near court 1 and it also has a larger disabled changing places toilet with hoist, changing table, shower seat and lots of space!

This year, the team will be entering two leagues! 

League 1: UKWB Development League

UKWB is a newer league in its third year of participation and we are looking forward to the challenge this brings us! while this will be a challenging league it will be a great starting point for any new or returning player!

League 2: Humberside Development League

Humberside development league (HDL) is a brand new league set up by current members of hull hornets. The idea is to provide a league similar to the old division 4 level leagues with fair and developmental level basketball! This will be suitable to new and developing players!
